FESTIVE SALAD
- ½ Head Romaine lettuce – chopped
- ½ head Iceburg lettuce – chopped
- ½ cup celery – chopped
- 1 small red onion chopped or ½ medium
Top with:
- ½ cup sliced almonds
- Caramelized in:
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
Fresh Pineapple chunks or Mandarin Oranges
Dressing:
- 2 Tablespoons Sugar
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
- ¼ cup oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh parsley Chopped
Layer in individual bowls:
First flour ingredients
Then add pineapple or mandarin oranges top with caramelized almonds
Add dressing last about 1 Tablespoon
Make about 6 servings
