On March 14, 2010 the Chestnut Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church, celebrated the Grand Opening of their Bible School & Resource Center, which is located on the church premises at 8700 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19118.
This event was attended by about 90 people, who enjoyed Vegan-Style Cuisine, and entertainment. The event continued with a prayer dedication and a ribbon cutting ceremony. At the conclusion, a total of 10 individuals filled out cards requesting Bible studies!
The Bible School’s mission statement is: to help, equip, empower, nurture and send disciples into our communities to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible School is equipped with books, literature, tracts, Bible study lessons, CD’s, DVD’s and Bibles for growing in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior.
The Bible School also has a training program which teaches individuals how to give Bible studies to anyone interested in learning about God.
